Aurin Galanodel

Several months ago Aurin and his mother Lyndela, a cleric of Melora, fled their forest
homeland after it was decimated by orc raiders led by an Oni Mage. Aurin’s father and brother
were killed during the final skirmish and, his sister Velia went missing and by all accounts is
presumed dead. The two of them fled north to a small human settlement that bordered the
woodland.
There Lyndela began assisting the clergy at the small temple in the village and Aurin kept
himself busy by serving in the village militia and occasionally signing on as a caravan escort to
the various traders that passed through the village. Aurin was well suited to the caravan guard
position. His keen senses and skill with the longbow were highly prized by the caravan leaders
and he soon began going on longer and more dangerous journeys.
